Limited Warranty Program

Every bag leaves our facility built to go the distance. If a manufacturing defect gets in the way of that, this warranty has you covered.

Have a US Traveler, Travel Select, Pacific Gear, or Elite Luggage product?

Airline, cruise, and carrier damage isn't covered here

If your bag was damaged while it was in someone else's hands (an airline, cruise line, FedEx, UPS, or any other carrier), that's a separate situation. We build our luggage to hold up, but what happens to it in transit is outside what we can stand behind.

Keep in mind: the items listed below (wheels, handles, zippers, etc.) are only covered when the issue comes from how the bag was built, not from what it went through on the road.

What to do instead: Head to the carrier's desk before you leave baggage claim. Most require damage to be reported on the spot, so don't wait. Your boarding pass and baggage tag are your best friends here.
  • Normal wear and tear: Scuffs, scratches, and surface marks are part of life on the road. They're not defects.
  • Impact damage: Cracks or tears from drops, hard knocks, or overpacking fall outside what this warranty covers.
  • Wheel wear: Gradual wear from regular use is expected over time and not something we can cover.
  • Unauthorized resellers: This warranty is only valid for bags purchased directly from Traveler's Choice or a certified retailer.
  • Third-party repairs: If someone other than us has opened it up or modified it, we're not able to extend coverage.
  • Transferred ownership: Coverage is tied to the original purchase and doesn't carry over to a new owner.

  • Coverage is only valid during the warranty period for your specific collection. Look up your warranty length here.
  • This warranty applies to the 48 contiguous United States only.
  • Coverage is tied to the original purchase and is not transferable.
  • We reserve the right to void coverage in cases of dishonest or fraudulent claims.
  • Review time may exceed 5–7 weeks if additional investigation is needed.
  • These terms are subject to change without notice.
