1. Program Overview

The Traveler's Choice Affiliate Program allows approved partners to earn commissions by referring customers to travelerchoice.com. By applying to or participating in the program, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not participate.

2. Enrollment and Eligibility

Participation requires an approved application. We review applications based on audience quality, content standards, and brand alignment, and we may accept or decline any application at our sole discretion. Approval may be granted through Shopify Collabs, CJ Affiliate, or another platform we designate, and the terms on this page apply across all platforms unless platform-specific terms state otherwise.

3. Commissions and Tracking

• Commission rate: The rate stated in your offer on the affiliate platform through which you were approved (Shopify Collabs or CJ Affiliate). Rates are set per affiliate, may vary between affiliates and programs, and may be updated prospectively at our discretion with notice through your platform. Your platform dashboard is the authoritative record of your current rate. Commissions are calculated on the net sale amount, excluding taxes, shipping, and returns.
• Cookie window: 30 days from the customer's click on your affiliate link, unless your platform offer states otherwise.
• Qualifying sales: Completed purchases that are not canceled, refunded, returned, or flagged as fraudulent. Commissions on such orders may be reversed.
• Attribution: Sales are tracked through your unique affiliate link and, where issued, your assigned discount code. Platform tracking data is the sole and final record of attribution, and we are not liable for commissions on sales the platform does not attribute to you, including those lost to technical failures, disabled cookies, or customer behavior outside the tracking window.

4. Discount Code and Link Usage

If you are issued a personal discount code, it is intended for promotion to your own audience through your own channels, such as your website, social media accounts, email list, or video content.

If your code appears on a coupon site without your involvement, contact us promptly at affiliates@travelerchoice.com. We will work with you to issue a replacement code. Failure to report known leaks may be treated as a violation of these terms.

5. Content and Promotion Guidelines

• Disclosure: You must clearly disclose your affiliate relationship in accordance with FTC guidelines and applicable law, including clear labels such as "affiliate link" or #ad where required. You are solely responsible for compliance with all disclosure obligations, and you agree that we have no liability for your failure to comply.
• Accuracy: Represent our products truthfully. Do not make claims about product features, warranties, or pricing that we have not published.
• Brand use: We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use approved Traveler's Choice logos and product imagery solely to promote the program during your participation. This license terminates automatically when your participation ends. Do not alter our trademarks, register domains or social handles containing our marks, or present yourself as an employee or official representative of Traveler's Choice. All intellectual property rights remain our exclusive property, and no ownership rights transfer to you.
• Paid search: Bidding on our trademarked brand terms (including "Traveler's Choice" and misspellings) in paid search campaigns is prohibited.

6. Prohibited Activities

The following will result in commission reversal and may result in immediate termination:

• Self-referrals or purchases made through your own link or code for personal benefit
• Cookie stuffing, forced clicks, or other artificial attribution methods
• Spam, unsolicited bulk messaging, or deceptive advertising
• Promotion on sites containing unlawful, hateful, or adult content
• Misuse of customer data obtained through the program

7. Payment and Taxes

Commissions are paid through the platform on which you were approved (Shopify Collabs or CJ Affiliate), according to that platform's payment schedule and minimum payout thresholds. Commissions are held during any applicable return window and are subject to reversal for returns, cancellations, and fraud. You are solely responsible for all taxes on amounts you earn through the program and for providing any tax documentation we or the platform reasonably request, including a W-9 or W-8 where applicable.

8. Independent Contractor Status

You participate in the program as an independent contractor. Nothing in these terms creates an employment, agency, partnership, joint venture, or franchise relationship between you and Traveler's Choice. You have no authority to make commitments or representations on our behalf, and you are not entitled to employee benefits of any kind.

9. Review, Suspension, and Termination

We monitor program activity on an ongoing basis. We may review, suspend, or terminate any affiliate account at any time, with or without cause and with or without notice, including for violation of these terms, suspected fraud, or conduct we reasonably believe harms the Traveler's Choice brand. You may leave the program at any time by notifying us. Upon termination, unpaid commissions on valid sales earned before termination will be paid in the ordinary course; commissions associated with violations of these terms are forfeited. Sections 8 and 10 through 14 survive termination.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

The program, the affiliate platform, tracking links, and discount codes are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that tracking will be uninterrupted or error-free, and we make no representation or guarantee regarding the level of commissions or earnings you may achieve through the program.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Traveler's Choice and its officers, directors, employees, and agents will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost revenue, or lost data, arising out of or relating to the program, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the program will not exceed the total commissions paid to you in the three months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Traveler's Choice and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or relating to: (a) your participation in the program; (b) your content, advertising, or promotional activities; (c) your violation of these terms; or (d) your violation of any law or the rights of any third party, including FTC disclosure requirements.

13. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of laws principles. Any dispute arising out of or relating to the program will be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Los Angeles County, California, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.

14. General Provisions

• Modifications: We may update these terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated by email or through your affiliate platform, and continued participation after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
• Assignment: You may not assign or transfer your participation or any rights under these terms without our prior written consent. We may assign these terms without restriction.
• Severability: If any provision of these terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full force and effect.
• No waiver: Our failure to enforce any provision is not a waiver of our right to enforce it later.
• Entire agreement: These terms, together with any platform-specific terms, constitute the entire agreement between you and Traveler's Choice regarding the program.
