Terms of Service

The warranty program is only applicable through the duration of the warranty for the collection of your luggage item. If you do not know the warranty length please visit our warranty duration page by clicking on this link: https://www.travelerchoice.com/pages/warranty-length-duration. The warranty is not applicable to the following topics.

  • Normal wear and tear: Luggage is subject to normal wear and tear that occurs with regular use, including mishandling during transit. This may result in scuffs, scratches, or minor abrasions on the luggage's surface. Such wear and tear are considered natural and are not covered under warranty or eligible for replacement.
  • Cracks or tears on luggage body: Damage such as cracks or tears on the luggage body that occur from regular use, impacts, or excessive weight of packed items are not covered under warranty. It is the responsibility of the user to handle the luggage with care to minimize the risk of such damage.
  • Wheel damage: While we strive to provide durable wheels, damage to the wheels caused by regular use, varying surfaces, or mishandling is not covered under warranty. Users are advised to exercise caution and use their luggage in a manner that minimizes the risk of wheel damage.
  • Unauthorized resellers: The limited warranty program is only valid for products bought either directly from Traveler's Choice or via a certified reseller.

It's important to keep in mind that the limited warranty is not transferable and cannot be extended to a repaired or replacement piece, and that Traveler's Choice reserves the right to void the limited warranty in cases of dishonest or fraudulent claims.

The limited warranty applies only within the 48 contiguous United States and is limited to the value of the product. Please be aware that processing time for the limited warranty program may exceed 5-7 weeks if there is a pending investigation. These rules are subject to change without notice.

Every warranty case is reviewed by a warranty agent in a ticket system. This process will take 5-7 weeks after the warranty is submitted. The warranty agent will email the decision of the outcome of the warranty claim. All decisions are final.

Third Party Damages

Transportation damages caused by FedEx, UPS, airlines, cruises or common carriers like trains, buses, or cruises are also not covered, nor are improper repairs or maintenance by the original owner or a third party.

We would like to inform our valued customers that as a luggage company, we cannot assume liability for any damages caused to your suitcase during transit by transportation companies. While we strive to provide durable and reliable products, it is important to note that the responsibility for the safe handling and transportation of your luggage lies with the transportation companies.

In the event that your suitcase sustains damage while in the custody of a transportation company, we recommend familiarizing yourself with their specific policies and procedures regarding claims for damaged luggage. These transportation companies have their own liability guidelines and claim processes that govern their responsibility for any potential damages.

What do we cover?

  1. Zippers & Fasteners
  • Broken or malfunctioning zippers that fail to open, close, or align properly.
  • Detached zipper pulls or sliders.
  • Misaligned or faulty zipper teeth.

2. Handles

  • Telescopic handles that will not extend, retract, or lock into place prematurely.
  • Loose or detached handles (top, side, or bottom).

3. Wheels & Wheel Assembly

  • Misaligned or improperly secured wheels that have come undone prematurely.

4. Stitching & Seams

  • Loose, missing, or unraveling stitching that have come undone prematurely.

5. Material Defects

  • Cracks, or tears in the hard shell of hardside luggage.
  • Fabric in softside luggage fraying, tearing, or deteriorating prematurely.

6. Interior Components

  • Torn or improperly attached lining that are deteriorating prematurely.
  • Broken internal pockets, straps, or dividers that are deteriorating prematurely.

7. Locks

  • TSA-approved locks that are faulty or fail to function correctly.
  • Locking mechanisms that do not work as intended.

8. Structural Integrity

  • Any bending, cracking, or damage to the frame not due to misuse.

9. Finishing

  • Defects in the external finishing such as paint peeling, discoloration, or surface coatings cracking under premature conditions.

Limited Warranty Program Shipping Price

Please note that this fee is to cover the shipping cost from our fulfillment center to the destination. There are no product charges for the warranty replacement.

To submit a warranty request, click the button below and fill out the form. Our warranty team will review your request, issue a warranty authorization number, and inform you of next steps. After you have submitted your warranty claim, please allow 5-7 weeks for processing time.
